What is a subdomain?

A subdomain is the part before the domain name and is one of several ways you can organise your website setup. This could be something like blog.example.com or shop.example.com or photos.example.com. 

With allthe.domains subdomains are unlimited and free. You can create them within the cPanel interface within the client area when you're logged in.
